The My Fitness Boutique Boot Camp Circuit classes combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout. You can burn 400 – 600 calories in a variety of classes that may use skipping ropes, boxing moves, free weights, and we know our instructors will probably throw in a little healthy competition! Capoeira is new to My Fitness Boutique as a Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, sports, and music. This class is for all fitness levels and abilities. Capoeira was created in the 16th century. In Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly kicks and quick leg sweeps, with some ground and aerial acrobatics, knee, elbows, punches and head butts. Capoeira does not focus on injuring the opponent. Rather, it emphasizes skill. Today Capoeira's universal appeal crosses gender and cultures, ages and social status. Come to Capoeira and experience a mix of martial art discipline, tempered with dance, music, and rhythms which appeal to people of all ages!

Boxercise follows the methods employed in boxing as closely as possible whilst ensuring the maximum amount of safety and exercise. Boxercise works all major muscle groups, it enhances range of movement, is suitable for both sexes, all ages and levels of ability. Kettle Bells (Kettle Blast!) Kettle Blast! Training with Kettlebells produces phenomenal levels of fitness and strength which is why their use was originally almost exclusive to the military and martial artists such as boxers who require such attributes. The results of a kettlebell program are unrivalled by many other training methods, as well as the gains in strength and fitness, they lead to a finely toned and non bulky physique, something which is highly desirable to many. In Kettle Blast!, you will be taken through many different exercises, progressing from a beginner level through to more advanced techniques at a pace comfortable to you, and before long you will understand the reason for the name of the class as you explode into action in one of the most fun and rewarding training methods around. Kettlebells were a training tool first used by the Russian Military for hundreds of years ago before spreading to the West. Their use involves almost every part of the body simultaneously whether for stabilization or to generate the power needed to perform the exercises. Today their growing success in the main stream market is in part due to their recognition as one of the greatest calorie burners and generators of functional strength. The exertion of a kettlebell workout and the fact that hundreds of muscles are recruited to perform the exercises mean that the body’s metabolic rate is increased for hours after each workout and hence their phenomenal calorie burning potential. By functional strength, we mean strength gains which aid people carrying out their everyday activities such as walking around without getting back pain, walking up stairs, lifting things and getting in and out of cars. It is also common for their use to result in improved posture due to the development of the core and all the finer supporting muscles often missed by other forms of training. Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) is one of the most popular forms of aerobic exercises. Muay Thai is the Thai name for a form of hard martial art practiced in several Southeast Asian countries including Thailand and Cambodia. Almost all the techniques in Muay Thai use the entire body movement, rotating the hip with each kick, punch, and block. The rotation of the hips in Muay Thai techniques, and intensive focus on "core muscles" (such as abdominal muscles) is very distinctive and is what sets Muay Thai apart from other styles of martial arts. This makes it an effective and challenging form of training. The exercise is especially beneficial for women, because it is a great defense technique. Apart from being an xercise for self defense, it also aids in loosing weight at a fast pace, thereby helping you to achieve your goal of a beautiful, toned body shape.
MFB Pump is a great 45 minute class. Using a combination of weights, callisthenics and a cardio circuits you'll be pushed to your limit, while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning. Are you tough enough? After an initial warm-up, all the major muscle groups are worked via a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses and lifts. MFB Bodyshop Outdoor Training. Okay, here is a class with a twist its back to basics training outside in the yard! Yes, this is a great Tuesday night session of high intensity circuits for maximum results! Test your mettle and re-shape your body using; battling ropes, tyres, sledge hammers, weighted vests, sand bags, club bells, heavy bags and kettle bells! This class is full of cardio intervals combined with weight training using non conventional multi jointed compound exercise which makes your metabolism fat burning. No need for a gym. Just pure hard work using equipment mostly that can be found at any car bodyshop – just like Woodstock Motors!
Rope & Suspension Training A new hybrid mixed class using Olympic rings, ropes, resistance bands, kettle bells, sandbags and various other objects! The only thing for certain is a great hardcore workout with results!
Total re-Core A 45 minute class is designed to shape and hone core strength with stability. Total re-Core will make for better posture, more definition in the abdominal area and assist counteracting lower back pain. This great class will provide a real challenge but with results for all; whether you are a novice through to the more experienced practitioner with difficulty progressions and regressions to suit all. This is Total re-Core!
