Ashley's view on fitness is all about empowering people through innovative training methods which stimulates mind, body and spirit. Ashley’s aim is to make people feel the real benefits of fitness training. He says: “I want my clients to walk away from sessions smiling and feeling a real sense of achievement. It’s important to me that people are challenged and have fun, while learning good fitness techniques. Fitter people are happier people. Peace of mind and clarity is something that can be achieved from training. When I challenge clients to push themselves to their limits, they become more self-confident and determined. It’s a great feeling when people thank you for making a positive impact on their lives."
Dave believes that getting and staying fit and improving your body image should be all about what makes you feel good yourself and not how you think beauty magazines and celebrity culture say you should look. Getting fit and healthy should be a lifestyle choice and not purely about aesthetics. Bodily health and fitness should be enjoyable and sustainable. Dave is fully qualified REPS level 3 personal trainer, A circuit trainer, Core Strength and Stability Instructor, And a ‘Art of Running’ Instructor. He feels his approach to training and dietary management is realistic and says that ‘Any programmes that involve ‘crash’ dieting or short-term high intensity training are a waste of time. He is all about making dietary changes, fitness training and ‘toning’/strength training enjoyable and sustainable long term. If it isn’t fun and you can’t still have a life then it simply won’t work long term. Let’s focus on what is suitable, fun and enjoyable, Have long term goals and with the help and advice of professionals like myself, measure your progress with achieving short term goals on a regular basis. Health and fitness should also be a “state of mind” Let’s make this work for you!
Candice For the past 12 years I have been heavily involved in the fitness industry. I have always been one of the small percentage of people that exercise because they enjoy it – I promise you, exercise is fun. As well as other things I am a Health Coach where I practice one on one sessions geared towards Postural Alignment and Core Function. I love energised and engaging classes like spinning as they enable you to have an intense workout, to push yourself, at your own pace in a motivational group environment. Core stability is hugely important in all aspects of exercise. If your core is not activated, number one your spine is vulnerable, and more importantly to some, in order to achieve a firm, toned stomach you must ensure you strengthen your core!! Some people sit back and wait for things to happen, I’m of the belief of making it happen. Look after your body now and it will look after you in the years to follow, we only get one so let’s get the best out of it!!! Exercise not only helps keeps the body in shape but also the mind, it’s a fantastic stress release and all that adrenaline can help pick you up when you’re down.
Catherine At the beginning there was just me and a pair of trainers with my gym pass in my back pocket and the London streets outside my front door. I began running indoors and then outdoors. There came a point when it was time for me to come out of my comfort zone and set myself a goal so I registered for my first 10km race. As I crossed the finish line I had a huge sense of achievement as all the training had paid off. It was here that my passion for running began. Over many years I completed a number of half, full and ultra marathons and developed a true passion for fitness, exercise and well being. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience to help encourage and motivate others to a healthier lifestyle. I am a fully qualified YCMA Level 2 Exercise to Music instructor and also registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals. I teach cardio and body conditioning classes and I love it! My classes are high energy using uplifting music to help you increase your fitness levels and burn those calories! No matter whether your goal is to strengthen your body, lose some weight or just to enjoy a good workout, my classes are suitable for total beginners as well as seasoned fitness enthusiasts so come and join me for some fitness fun!
