I began running indoors and then outdoors. There came a point when it was time for me to come out of my comfort zone and set myself a goal so I registered for my first 10km race. As I crossed the finish line I had a huge sense of achievement as all the training had paid off. It was here that my passion for running began. Over many years I completed a number of half, full and ultra marathons and developed a true passion for fitness, exercise and well being. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience to help encourage and motivate others to a healthier lifestyle. I am a fully qualified YCMA Level 2 Exercise to Music instructor and also registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals. I teach cardio and body conditioning classes and I love it! My classes are high energy using uplifting music to help you increase your fitness levels and burn those calories! No matter whether your goal is to strengthen your body, lose some weight or just to enjoy a good workout, my classes are suitable for total beginners as well as seasoned fitness enthusiasts so come and join me for some fitness fun!

Clinton has been practising Yoga and martial arts for over 10 years and has always had a keen interest in heath, fitness and general well-being. He is also a qualified Acupuncturist and Massage therapist and has an in depth amount of knowledge of the human body and how we function as human beings. His passion for spiritual wellness has lead him to the path of Yoga. " The union of the mind, body and breath, Leads to a happier heart, healthier spirit and stronger body".

staff-logoFrances is a qualified exercise to music instructor and indoor cycle instructor. She teaches body conditioning, circuits, indoor cycle, and aerobics. She has been practicing group exercise for the past 15 years including Yoga, classic and reformer Pilates. Frances won several regional swimming and figure skating competitions in the United States where she spent her childhood years. She is also a keen runner and triathlete. Frances' motto is that variety is key: "Variation in exercise keeps you focused and agile. By varying what you do and setting achievable goals, you will see results. By learning a new skill, you are continuously challenging yourself mentally and physically."

staff-logoGen . As a child all I wanted to do was dance and play sports. That was it. When I reached aged 16 I attended full time ballet school gaining a HNC in professional stage dance and a Cecchetti ballet teaching qualification. On weekends I would spend my time running and when I came home in the holidays I took part in 5km and 10km races which I still take part in as well as training for longer distance races which I love! Once I left ballet school I went straight into teaching at the Marylebone and Bayswater Vacani ballet school. After a couple of months I decided to qualify as a fitness instructor in the Booty Barre® method which linked well with my ballet roots. It is an amazing way to get in shape and prevent injuries as well as improving posture and improving muscle imbalances. (it has also somehow made me a faster runner! Gillian I started my career in fitness with a level 3 Diploma in mat work Pilates, and have been teaching classes on a regular basis since 2008. I wanted new ways in which to challenge my clients so I completed my level 2 gym instructor qualification and took separate courses in Kettlebells and Suspension training. I now teach a combination of classes my favourite being a 50/50 combination of Pilates and Kettlebells. Lauren has been a regular spinner for 6 years but was inspired to teach by Master Schwinn instructor Stefano Ruggeri back in 2012. The Schwinn philosophy appealed to her because you don’t do anything on an indoor bike that you wouldn’t do outside; it about testing your fitness and going on a journey, together. Having always cherished spinning at stressful times in her life she is passionate about delivering an intensive yet spiritual workout which led to her unique Spirit Spin class. A self confessed music junkie she loves nothing more than finding the best soulful beats to cycle to.

Coming from a dance background she loves choreographing new and exciting routines keeping her clients interested and coming back for more. Her classes are all about great music, high energy and a happy environment- everyone encouraging each other! She teaches studio cycle, step and a wide range of aerobics and conditioning based classes, with her own spin and style incorporated, which will be sure to leave you feeling exhilarated and satisfied that you have pushed yourself to your full potential.

 

Ricky is a Level 3 Gym Instructor in Advanced Spinning techniques, Group (circuits) and Personal Training. He is with with the Register of Exercise Professionals and certified with YMCA Keiser cycle studio training. Ricky's spin classes are high intensity which corresponds to fun and dynamic music, genres from 80s, Latin, house through to latest pop tracks. His high calorie burn sessions cover all over body conditioning, from lower body to upper body and core exercises. He is is very passionate about fitness, exercise, nutrition and runs a niche training business in the health and wellbeing industry.

Sam I am a big sports and fitness fan and I love to keep active and healthy. My style is all about balance and variety. Exercise should be a pleasure. I think the most important factors in a class are good music, an intense workout and having fun. I like everyone to come out of my classes smiling, sweating and satisfied! I teach spin, LBT and a range of cardio and aerobic workouts. I have designed some programs and courses that specialise in feminine fitness and body blitzing! Tassie (Sensei Tassie) is a Black belt 5th Dan Karate (over 30 years experience) and Black belt Kick Boxing (Over 20 years experience). Tassie is also a qualified YMCA Gym Instructor and a YMCA Holistic conditioning Instructor which in tails Yoga and Meditation. Tassie has also been a fully qualified massage therapist for over 20 years specialising in Holistic Oil Massage, Indian Head Massage and Thai Medical Massage

In addition; Tassie holds the following Karate titles.

  • Miami International Open Karate Champion 1999
